Drilling is ESSENTIAL to taking your pickleball game to the next level! HUMC Pickleball has various options to help you with this!

****DRILL CLINICS ****

We hold periodic drill clinics. These clinics are posted on HUMCSports.org; also watch for clinics notifications in our weekly emails. If you are interested in a specific drill clinics, please send us an email to info@humcsports.org. If there is a demand, we will try to fill it!

CURRENT DRILL OFFERINGS:


  • Self-directed Drill sessions (up to 4 to a court): $10/person/hr

This drill session is geared to those who want to drill with others for an hour in a dedicated drill session. This registration reserves your spot on a court of 4 players. This session is subject to cancellation if the court is not filled. 


  • Personalized drill sessions with a coach: $25/person/hr

This drill session is personalized for YOU. Tell us what you want to drill and we will design a drill session to meet your goals. We will work with you during this hour to offer constructive feedback and strategy tips. During your session, we can include time with a ball machine and even film you so you can see yourself in motion. This drill session is geared to newcomers & beginners to intermediate level (3.0).


  • Beginner's Clinic: Want to learn how to play pickleball in a fun, low-key coaching session? $25/person/hr

This session is for YOU. We will work with you to teach you how to play pickleball! Learn the ins and out of pickleball in a fun and safe environment so you can join us in open play on the courts!


  • Drill & Play Clinic: 2 hr sessions
    • Multiple drill options to improve your game
    • Practice drills in real-time game situations
    • Receive tips and learn new skills from advanced players

A drill & play clinic to play with people of similar skill levels  and receive constructive feedback and tips about technique and game play strategy. Players will learn new skills and drills as well as have an opportunity to practice in real games. These clinics are 2 hour sessions and are led by a qualified coach.


**** BALL MACHINE & COURT RENTAL****

HUMC's Pickleball Tutor Plus ball machine is available for drill sessions at our indoor courts! 

One-hour sessions at our indoor court with the ball machine (balls included) are available upon request.

Practice drops, drives, serves, volleys, and returns - with and without spins. Come with a partner(s) and share the cost! Two-line oscillation feature allows 2 players to practice at the same time.  

  • Current rates are $25/hr for 1 hour of ball machine in an indoor court space. Come with a partner(s) and share the cost!   **Rates are subject to change**
  • We provide the machine, an indoor court, pickleballs, and a ball collector for one hour. We will help you set up the ball machine for your needs. If staffing allows, we will assist you during your session.

**** ALL DRILL SESSIONS ****

  • We are always trying to meet your needs. Feel free to ask us about an alternative time slot for any of the drill clinics - contact Susan at info@humcsports.org. 
  • Drill sessions are geared for adults (18 years and up). If you have a child or youth (under 18 years old), please email us so we are aware that a youth is coming. Please note that this is for the youth's safety and to comply with the the church's safe sanctuary rules; a guardian will need to stay on campus during the session.
